Dermatologist

Dr. Julio Jasso-Olivares is a dermatologist practicing in Quebec, recognized for his specialized expertise in hair and nail disorders. He has been practicing within the public healthcare system for nearly a decade and also serves as Vice-President of the Montreal Dermatology Society.

After completing his dermatology residency in Mexico City, he pursued advanced fellowship training in nail and hair disorders at the University of Miami and in Bologna under the supervision of Dr. Antonella Tosti, a world-renowned expert in the field. He also holds a Master’s degree in Trichology from the University of Alcalá in Spain.

Dr. Jasso-Olivares is a Clinical Assistant Professor affiliated with both Laval University and the University of Montreal, where he actively contributes to the education of medical students and dermatology residents.

A member of several international medical societies, including the American Hair Research Society, the European Nail Society, and the Nail Group of the French Society of Dermatology, he actively contributes to the advancement of knowledge in his field and regularly participates in international conferences and continuing education programs.

An invited speaker at both national and international events, he is the author of scientific publications and contributes to the development of clinical guidelines in the fields of trichology and nail pathology.

His clinical and academic interests include trichology, trichoscopy, onychoscopy, and nail surgery.
