Dr. Sophie Vadeboncoeur

Dermatologist

Graduated in medicine from the Université Laval in 2010, she then completed a 5-year residency in dermatology at the Université de Montreal in 2015. She pursued a one-year post-doctoral training (fellowship) in pediatric dermatology at Harvard University as part of the Boston Children's Hospital team in 2016. In addition to her Royal College of Canada (FRCPC), she graduated from the American Board of Dermatology(FABD) and obtained her certification as a subspecialist in pediatric dermatology (PeDABD). She has several scientific articles to her credit, as well as book chapters in dermatological encyclopedias. She began her practice in academia at the Maisonneuve-Rosemont Hospital in 2017, where she practiced as an associate professor with the University of Montreal. She accumulates multiple conferences in various medical congresses. By partnering with HumaDerme, Dr. Vadeboncoeur wants to put the patient at the heart of her practice.

As a mother of four young children, I understand the parental anxiety and chaos that can sometimes reign in a medical examination room. At HumaDerme, I can take the necessary time and adapt to the needs of each patients.
