Maryse Parkinson

Nurse Practitioner Specialized in Mental Health

As a graduate with two master's degrees, one in 2018 in the field of mental health from the University of Trois-Rivières, and the other in 2020 following a combined academic curriculum from the University of Quebec en Outaouais and the University McGill, she was able to obtain the diploma of nurse practitioner specialized in mental health (IPSSM).

Subsequently, Maryse undertook various internships including an 8-month internship at the University Institute of Mental Health, an internship at the Douglas Hospital as well as a final one in pediatric psychiatry under the supervision of two renowned psychiatrists.

These internships gave her a solid foundation in mental evaluation, therapeutic relationships and finally, in the development of a solid differential diagnoses. Maryse has all the qualities necessary to help the patient optimize their recovery and feel better about themselves.
